Tour Experience

Every year our school organize educational tour to grade 8 and 9. After the end of our second term exam the next day was our tour. Everyone who was going were very excited. After the end of exam we went home and start packing bag for tour. Out of 48 students 30 students were going tour. We were going Chitwan, Ghandruk, Pokhara and Bandipur from 2076/09/19 to 2076/09/23. There were 4 teacher and 2 non teaching staffs who joined us in the tour.  










Day 1 ( Kathmandu to Sauraha)

We were told to arrive the school at 5:30 am. The weather was extremely cold. I had decided the outfit the previous day. As planned, I wore my outfit. Our journey started around 6:00 am. At first all felt asleep.We had donuts and boiled egg  as our breakfast. We all were enjoying our bus ride. We played songs and danced in the bus. Then, we entered Chitwan at around 10:40 am. We had our morning meal at Ramnagar. We all ate the food and got fresh up and without any delay we moved straight to our resort. The resort was beautiful and attractive. Then, we immediately went for jeep safari on Chitwan National Park. We were 12 in one jeep and others students were in another jeep. I with my 3 friends sat together and enjoyed the most with no cover but wind. It was almost 2 hour ride.

 We returned back to the resort at around 3:20 pm. Then, we left for Elephant Breeding Center at around 3:30 pm. We observed the female elephants and their babies with different age group. Likewise, at 4:05 p.m. we went to the

National Trust for Nature Conservation. There we observed different animals and species of crocodiles. We were truly satisfied and surprised looking those species.After that, we went back to resort and had our lunch. As, all the students were ravenous so they all like the food. After that we washed our face became fresh and went for the room selection. We chose the room as we were 5 girls in a room. After that we went to observe Tharu Culture.
We had a lot of fun there. We also dance in the stage at the end of the program.
 Then, we returned back to the resort at 8:30. We had a campfire and after that 

dinner at around 9:45. Again we enjoyed the campfire and danced by playing 

music. We sat around the fire and enjoyed our first night of the tour. After 

campfire, we went to our respective room and slept.

Day 2 ( Sauraha to Pokhara)

As, we were told to wake up early in the morning and moved fast towards our destination with a cup of tea. We moved from there around 6:00 am. As, all students were tired all sleep in the bus. We had our breakfast in the bus  only. 

  

We entered Pokhara by 11:05 a.m.Then, after a moment we have our morning meal in Pokhara ( Ivy Inn Hotel). We took a little break there. Then, without delay we moved for our destination. It was the long journey in the bus. Some students slept and some students sang song in the bus.  Then, we left for Ghandruk by 12:20 pm. We all enjoyed the bus ride with the songs played and dance of our friends. We reached Naudanda by 1:45 pm. The road was not so good as well as satisfying. But, the scenery was just awesome. After a long journey we reached Kichme where we had our lunch as noodles. We all loved that noodles. Then, we went to washroom and drank water and moved for hike to Ghandruk. As, we were told to take necessary clothes for tonight so we all packed the clothes and moved.Then, we moved for hike to Ghandruk by 5:20 pm. We saw Khachhad on the way. During hike, we had to climb the staircase. We reached the gateway to Ghandruk by 5:50 pm. We were really tired by half an hour hike. Some of us were lost on the way.It was around 1 hour hike.     

Then, we finally reached the Hotel. Then, we went to our respective room and change our dress and came done to have a cup of tea. Then at 7:30 we had our dinner. After dinner we had camfire. We all enjoyed in camfire.

Day 3 ( Ghandruk to Pokhara) 

On this day we woke up early in the morning and went for a walk. The mountain were looking so beautiful form our hotel. We had really fun during the walk in the Ghandruk. We clicked many photo there. After a small hike we went to the hotel and had our breakfast. It was very tasty. And we went to our room and packed our bag and got ready to moved from there. Then, we moved for the hike to Kichme. We all were singing will the hike. We reached there at

around 9:00 am and took rest for a while and without delay we moved to Pokhara. At 1:00 p.m. we reached the hotel Ivy Inn. We had our meal by 1:15. Then, we left for visiting Pokhara by 1:40 pm. At 2:10 we reached the Fewa Lake. There we did boating and visited Taal Barahi Temple. We took blessings from the temple. We enjoyed the boating a lot. By 2:50 p.m. we returned from Fewa Lake and moved towards David's Fall. We reached there by 3:00 pm. We observed the David's Fall. We too clicked some photos with cultural dress. 

 It was 3:30 when we observed the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. The cave was very slippy and warm as well. We observed the David's fall and Kamdhenu cow inside the cave. By 4:00 p.m. we left for the Shanti Stupa. We reached there at 4:15 pm. We were not allowed to make noise over there. We clicked photo silently, observed the scenery and returned back by 5:00 pm. We had our lunch as chaat at the nearby restaurant.
 Then, we were told to had a small night walk near lake side. We all were so excited. We had aleast 1 hour night walk. Then, we returned to hotel. We  had a surprise when we return hotel. All the teachers amazed us by providing pizza. The pizza was  so tasty. After that we had our dinner. Then we have camfire. We sing and dance in the camfire. I enjoyed the camfire a lot.  

  Day 4 ( Pokhara to Bandipur) 


As told we got ready at 5:40 and went to Sarangkot to see sunrise. By 6:35 we reached Sarangkot. The scenery was overwhelming and mesmerizing. We couldn't see the sunlight clearly but we all were satisfied by seeing the beautiful mountains. By 7:10 we returned back from Sarangkot and we left for the Bindyabasini Temple.  We reached temple by 7:45 am. We visited all the round from temple and click photographs. After returning from temple we had our breakfast at nearby hotel. After having breakfast we went to Mahendra cave.

We enterd the Mahendra Cave at 9:05. The cave was slippery same like Gupteshwor. There was many ancient sculpture inside the cave. I had a good time inside the cave. The exit for the cave was little bit difficult but I managed it.  We returned back to the bus and we went to Bat Cave. We reached there at 9:50 am. It was totally different and difficult to walk inside tha cave. The cave was fully covered with bats. We crawled to get outside of the cave. I got scared at that time but teachers helped us a lot to get out of that cave. We returned to bus and went to observe Seti river. After that we returned to hotel and we had our meal. We rest for some time at hotel and departed from hotel and moved towards International Mountains Museum. We reached there at 12:30pm and observe the cultural dresses of diferent caste. We observed the equipments of climbing mountains. After that we were shown a small video. I enjoyed a lot watching that video. We departed
for Bandipur at 1:50 pm. It was a small journey in bus. We reached there at around 7:15 pm. 

The people welcome us by putting tika and giving flower with a cup of tea and Alu. Then, we were divided into groups and sent in different house. There we had our lunch and changed our dress and went for a walk to Bazar.Then, we went to our house and had dinner. Without delay we gather in the bazar and went to dohori ghar. There will played Antakshari and the local people sang dohori and we danced there. It was really fun. As, I want this moment was the best part of the tour. Then, at around 10:00 pm we went to sleep.

Day 5 ( Bandipur to Kathmandu)

 This was the last day of the tour. We had a plan to hike Bandipur but we woke

up late. We went to the top to see the sunrise but unexpectedly we couldn't see the sunrise. It was really cold so we went back to home fast. At 7:30 and we had our snacks. After that we departed from the home. While returning back local people again put tika and gave small flower. We departed from there at 8:50 and moved towards the Siddha Cave. After a long hike we finally, reached Siddha Cave. One of the Guide show us the way to the cave. There were so many Architecture. It was so beautiful and amazing. It was slipy and warm too. It was a best experience of the cave. After a few moment we came out of the cave.We departed from cave at 11:00 am. Around 11:30 we reached the hotel and we had our meal. The meal was so delicious. After that we departed for Malekhu. 

We reached Malekhu at 2:00 where we had fish. The fish was really tasty. Some of them bought food stuffs and share to all of us.The time passed so quickly that we could not even realize that our tour has been completed. Finally we reached our school we took our bags and moved towards our home. I share all my experience to my family members.
